A great small independent cinema with staff interested in film, offering drinks and snacks.. We are lucky to have this in our town. It's in the running for an award.
A fantastic little cinema nestled deep in the heart of Broadstairs right next to the beach. Comfy and pleasant and it beats the big chains hands down.
Lovely cinema near the beach at Broadstairs. I prefer sitting in the balcony (due to the angle of the screen). They have a piano in front of the screen that is used on their Silent Sunday's where there is a live accompaniment to a silent movie(s) from the 1920's once a month.
Myself and my daughter have been twice this summer, both times were such an enjoyable experience. The facilities were spotless, staff were fantastic and the cinema is just lovely. My daughter only wants to use this cinema now. It's her favourite!
This small but perfectly formed cinema is a delight to visit. You get that personal family friendly service with a big screen and sound experience. Drink and snack choices are good for such a small venue, coffee and wine are super. We love supporting our local cinema.
This is a charming and friendly place, which is not as expensive as I thought. We paid £7: each, and they had drinks eg: (tea £1:20: and small bottles of wine) and sweets (and baged popcorn) for sale. There is a choice about where to sit, stalls or balcony and it was intimate and cosy watching the film. A point to note, there was a preview time and the film started 5 minutes after the advertised time, ie: no adverts! Brilliant! What a gem this place is, definitely recommend. No faults at all.
Lovely little cinema, seats are comfortable. Friendly staff.
Love The Palace. Because of its smaller size, and slightly reduced volume this is my daughter's favourite cinema. The staff are always friendly and helpful too.
